Medication reminder and alarm clocks
A number of standard alarms – such as a medication alarm, a notification to go to bed, a notification to get up, and individual alarms – can be enabled in the settings. These can be set with a number of different frequencies: one time, daily, from Monday to Friday, or on Sunday. This is useful if, for example, medication has to be taken at a fixed time. The alarm can be turned off by pressing any button on the back of the clock. This is clearly indicated on the screen when the alarm goes off.
Difference between the Analogue Dementia clock and the Digital Dementia clock
The Analogue and the Digital Dementia clock both possess the exact same functionalities, the only difference is in the display of time (either digital or analogue). Often, people who suffer from dementia don’t recognise the digital time indication any longer (16:34), but still recognise the analogue position of the hands of the clock as an indication of the time. This clock shows the analogue time on the extra-large 10-inch screen.
Both the analogue and digital displays can be shown in two ways, either the standard black and white display or the display for people with a visual impairment in black and yellow. (Approximately 85% of all the visual impairments in the Netherlands occur in people aged 50 or older). In addition, the digital display can also show the day in a red bar, especially for people with dementia.

Also interesting: a clock with an agenda function and App
In addition to the BBrain Basic analogue clock, there is also the BBrain Family clock, which can be controlled via the internet with a useful App. Do you want to use the app to schedule and manage appointments and send messages or nice photos of your holiday to the clock? Then the BBrain Family D2 for dementia is the right choice. The BBrain Family G2 is suitable for seniors in general or seniors with beginning memory problems. With both clocks you can make video calls with your loved ones or caregivers.
