The BBrain Basic as part of the delirium protocol
The photo above was taken in the Amphia Hospital.
In hospitals, rehabilitation centers and other healthcare institutions, various interventions are applied in accordance with the delirium protocol for patients with an increased risk of delirium.
An important aspect of the delirium protocol is to promote orientation in time. To improve time perception, patient rooms and common areas can be equipped with a calendar clock.
The BBrain Basic Analogue shows:
- The time (digital or analogue).
- The day and the part of the day.
- The date.
- The clock changes with the needs of your client.
- You choose how the time is displayed.
Nurse Elke, who works in a rehabilitation center: "It is ideal for our department that the calendar clocks can be converted to a screen that only shows the day and the part of the day. In some situations, the date and time are too much information to process and are not of added value at that time. As soon as the patient's confusion decreases, we expand the time display again."
